- Working with xml - I am already using xml parsing in my SnakeData project but I need to dive deeper and find out how to iterate through all xml elements and reach each of their subelements. Although xml is a technology in its sunset /if we have to say it more poetically/ it is still useful and is a good point to start learning how to apply external schema or map to a program/application. I am using lxml to read xml schemas.
- Build web forms with Flask - this is entirely new to me and I will try to apply simple xml schema to short web form collecting imaginary respondent opinion.
- Store the data in new ways - in the final step I will learn how to store collected data in MySQL database and make it downloadable in different file formats /csv, xlsx, sav.../.
Currently I am ready with programming the logic on the back end and I am exploring the possibilities of Flask.
